Day 1:

Your Novel Journey begins at Florence airport where you will be met by Lisa and Vanessa, your tour directors. Our private coach will take us to the walled city of Montepulciano, in the heart of the Tuscan hills.

Enjoy a rest at the hotel before our evening Welcome Cocktail Reception.

Hotel Duomo is our hotel of choice in Montepulciano, as this is the actual location where Edward and Bella spent their days during the filming of New Moon. Located in an original Renaissance Palazzo, it is situated in the center of town, steps away from the gorgeous Piazza Grande.

Day 2:

After breakfast at the Hotel, we will begin our guided tour of Montepulciano and its main sights, including the Palazzo Comunale, the Duomo, and the Sanctuary of San Biagio.

For lunch, enjoy spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside while feasting on the delicacies of the region.

The afternoon is spent exploring the various New Moon filming locations including the Volturi's underground passageways. Finish the day with a delicious wine tasting featuring the famous wines of the Montepulciano region.

Dinner is on your own tonight, but we'll be delighted to suggest some of our favorites.

Day 3:

We'll enjoy breakfast at the Hotel before setting out for a day of exploration. In the morning, we will visit Montalcino, well known for its Brunello wine, and the Abbey of Monte Oliveto where scenes from "The English Patient" were filmed.

A light lunch will follow, before arriving in Siena. One of Italy's best-preserved medieval towns, Siena, built on three hills and surrounded by walls, is filled with fine examples of Gothic architecture and has one of the world's most unique Piazzas – il Campo, home of the Palio. We will head off for a guided tour of Siena's sights, such as the Duomo, Palazzo Publico, and Piazza del Campo.

At the end of our visit to Siena, our coach will transfer us to Volterra, one of Tuscany's most evocative hill towns. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Our hotel in Volterra is the Park Hotel Le Fonti, nestled among the waving Tuscan hills, just a 10-minute walk from the center of Volterra. The Hotel boasts a restaurant in typical Tuscan style with marvelous views, a wine bar, two outdoor swimming pools, large panoramic terrace, and Spa.

Day 4:

After breakfast, we will spend the morning hot on the trail of Bella and Edward as we walk through Volterra to discover the frightening and magical settings of New Moon, as envisioned by Stephenie Meyer.

We will then enjoy a special wine tasting followed by a guided tour of Volterra's historic sights, dating from the Etruscan times to the early Renaissance.

Spend some more time enjoying Volterra or relaxing at the Hotel before our coach whisks us away for a fabulous Twilight dinner. We will visit a working cheese farm and feast on a typical Tuscan family style meal.

Day 5:

Right after breakfast, we'll depart for Florence. Known for its art and architecture, Florence is a true open-air museum, grown more beautiful over the centuries. A treasure chest, surrounded by its ancient walls, this capital of the Renaissance is home to grandiose masterworks of art. We will spend the day touring all the riches Florence has to offer walking the same streets thru which Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Dante and many other of the most illustrious minds of all times traveled centuries ago.

Lunch is on your own today.

We will meet up for an Arrivederci Dinner in Florence tonight.

Day 6:

Breakfast at the Hotel followed by one group transfer to Florence Airport for your return journey home.
